Alicia Artz moved to Bradenton, Florida, in the summer of 2004 with her adopted dog, Pee Wee. Over the past 20 years, Alicia has adopted three more dogs from local shelters, each bringing her immense joy and deepening her passion for animal rescue. As she traveled, Alicia began meeting local rescue dogs and their owners, learning their inspiring adoption stories along the way. This sparked her desire to amplify the voices of these animals and the people who give them forever homes. Witnessing the struggles of overcrowded shelters and a lack of funding, Alicia founded Wander4Paws, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local shelters and spreading awareness about the power of adoption. Through Wander4Paws, Alicia connects with communities nationwide, sharing adoption stories and advocating for change.
